The Airoha ® AN8801R is a low power and highly integrated single-port Ethernet PHY transceiver. It performs robust data transmission and reception capabilities, is well-suited for routers, switches, and home gateways applications.
On the Ethernet twisted pair interface, the Airoha ® AN8801R is compliant with 10Base-T (IEEE 802.3), 100Base-TX (IEEE 802.3u) and 1000Base-T (IEEE 802.3ab).
Chip SerDes can be configured to support RGMII interface for Ethernet PHY transceiver application which operates at 1000Mbit/s data rate. A standard MDIO management interface allows a management entity of external MAC chip to access standard MDC / MDIO registers to control the Airoha ® AN8801R or to read the link status.
