The Airoha® EN8811H is a low power and highly integrated single-port Ethernet PHY transceiver. It performs robust data transmission and reception capabilities, is well-suited for routers, switches, and home gateways applications.

On the Ethernet twisted pair interface, the Airoha ® EN8811H is compliant with 100Base-TX (IEEE 802.3u), 1000Base-T (IEEE 802.3ab) and 2.5GBASE-T(IEEE 802.3bz).

The Airoha® EN8811H supports rich functions, such crossover detection, auto-correction, polarity correction, auto-negotiation and 9KB Jumbo Frame capability . It also supports the Energy-Efficient Ethernet (EEE) feature to reduce idle mode power consumption and realize cable length power saving function under different communication distance.

Data transition between MAC and PHY is via SerDes(Serializer-Deserializer) interface, which supports HSGMII interface and 2500Base-X for Ethernet PHY transceiver application. The HSGMII interface operates at 2500Mbit/s data rate, It can be connected to another MAC chip via a serial SGMII data interface. A standard MDIO management interface allows a management entity of external MAC chip to access standard MDC / MDIO registers to control the Airoha ® EN8811H or to read the link status.
