Airoha Technology Corp is formed by the combination of the Internet of Things division of its parent company MediaTek, along with Airoha Technology (prior to the merger), ECOnet Technology, and Audiowise Technology - three companies and four teams together. The core team has over 20 years of industry experience. Before merging into Airoha Technology, ECOnet Technology and Audiowise Technology were already subsidiaries of MediaTek. The merger into Airoha Technology Corp has already shown considerable effectiveness in various aspects such as talent acquisition, product line layout, and investment in advanced technology. Furthermore, through collaboration on ‘small and large design platforms’ with MediaTek, it will have even greater synergy and advantages.

Since 2017, Airoha Technology, with substantial support from its parent company MediaTek, has actively expanded its customer base in Europe and America, increased investment in the development of high-margin chips, and stepped up its research and development in Ethernet chip technology. After more than 20 years of development, by 2022, 10G-PON services have started to be deployed globally. Future Growth Opportunities

Envisioning the future, Airoha Technology has many development opportunities in two major areas globally: fixed broadband network infrastructure and advanced Artificial Intelligence of Things areas. Currently, governments around the world are ramping up their investments in network infrastructure. Airoha Technology will continue to expand in the field of networking terminal equipment. This includes chips for home network gateways, Fiber To The Home (FTTH), Fiber To The Room (FTTR), and Ethernet switches, among others. Airoha Technology's ultra-high-speed SerDes transmission and optical laser driver technologies are also among the global leaders, having developed the 50/100/200/400 Gbps PAM4 DSP + LDD series chip solutions. These are primarily used in high-speed optical modules for interconnects between data center equipment. Currently, Airoha Technology's PAM4 DSP + LDD chips are the first in Asia to be mass-produced for high-speed optical module PAM4 DSP chip solutions.

In the advanced Artificial Intelligence of Things sector, Airoha Technology's Bluetooth audio chips maintain their presence in flagship products of branded clients and have broadened their application to gaming, enterprise, hearing aids, and the forthcoming public broadcasting market (Auracast™). Airoha Technology to Implement AI Technology Across Entire Chip Series by 2026

Leveraging the Edge AI technological capabilities of the MediaTek Group and Airoha Technology, Airoha Technology excels in audio domain scenario recognition, noise reduction, centimeter-level high precision satellite positioning, and high-speed data offloading capabilities, all achieved with minimal power consumption. This enables clients to quickly integrate AI into their end products, significantly enhancing the competitiveness of their products.

Airoha Technology's satellite positioning chips have been adopted by automobile manufacturers for tracking applications in options and aftermarket installations. Its automotive satellite positioning chips passed the AEC-Q100 Grade 2 reliability standard tests at the end of 2023 and have been integrated and validated with MediaTek's Dimensity Auto automotive platform, entering the design-in phase with customers in early 2024. Airoha Technology is also actively planning for the ISO26262 automotive functional safety international standard, demonstrating its commitment to the safety and reliability of its automotive satellite positioning chips, as well as its determination to enter the automotive market.
