The Airoha ® EN8804F is a highly integrated four-port Gigabit Ethernet transceivers with QSGMII interface. The EN8804 device contains four full-duplex 10BASE-T/100BASE-Tx/1000BASE-T transceivers and 10BASE-T /100BASE-Tx can run at half-duplex, each of which performs all the physical layer interface functions.
The Airoha ® EN8804F embedded four 1G SerDes with SGMII interface to support Ethernet copper port or optical fiber port.
On the Ethernet twisted pair interface, the Airoha ® EN8804F is compliant with 10Base-T (IEEE 802.3), 100Base-TX (IEEE 802.3u) and 1000Base-T (IEEE 802.3ab).
On the optical fiber interface, the Airoha ® EN8804F is compliant with 100Base-FX and 1000Base-TX. A 25MHz crystal is required, and optional external EEPROM is offered for internal register configuration.
The Airoha ® EN8804F supports rich functions, such crossover detection, auto-correction, polarity correction and auto-negotiation. It also supports the Energy-Efficient Ethernet (EEE) feature to reduce idle mode power consumption. Pre-defined LEDs blinking behavior is implemented for link status indication.
